Beginner Piano Camp is a great camp to introduce students to the piano with fun and educational methods that will make your child fall in love with music and will inspire them to play the piano. Students will receive the Piano Explorers Lesson Book, Instrument Explorers Workbook, and Sticker Book, enhancing their learning experience and building a lasting resource library. Piano camps are meticulously designed with a focus on small-group instruction, ensuring that each participant receives ample access to a keyboard. Throughout the duration of the camp, attendees will engage with a comprehensive curriculum covering fundamental piano techniques, including:

– Establishing proper posture and hand positioning for optimal performance.

– Understanding the differences between black and white keys, further reinforced through tailored songs.

– Delving into essential music theory concepts: musical notation and rhythmic structures, all of which are reinforced through engaging song-based exercises.

– Acquiring proficiency in identifying the names of keys and mastering various rhythmic patterns.

Furthermore, our curriculum is supplemented by instructional materials authored and published by Eva Brandys, owner of Park Cities School of Music, Young Artist Music School, and Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts.

To culminate our camp experience, families are invited to attend a Mini Concert on the final day, showcasing the musical achievements of our talented campers.
